Standard shipping is a flat rate of R99. Orders over R450 qualify for free shipping across South Africa.

Orders are dispatched within 1 business day. Delivery takes approximately 3 working days after dispatch. Our operating hours are Monday–Friday 09:00–16:30, excluding public holidays.

We currently ship within South Africa only. Our products are also available on Takealot, Superbalist, and at Clicks stores nationwide.

If you're not happy with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. The product must be in its original, unopened condition. Terms and conditions apply — reach out to us and we'll walk you through the process.

Yes! All Fundamentals products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We never test on animals, and none of our formulations contain animal-derived ingredients.

Yes. We keep all our products fragrance-free because added fragrances can cause skin irritation, especially for sensitive skin types. What you smell is simply the natural scent of the active ingredients.

Cosmeceutical-grade products contain active ingredients at concentrations that can actually penetrate into the epidermis and deliver visible results — unlike cosmetic-only products that just sit on the surface. All our serums and treatments meet this standard.

Many of our products are pregnancy safe — look for the 'Pregnancy Safe' tag on individual product pages. If you're unsure, we recommend consulting your doctor or taking our skin quiz which flags pregnancy-safe options for you.

Start with the basics: a cleanser, a moisturiser, and SPF. That's it. Once your skin adjusts, you can add targeted actives. Our skin questionnaire will build a personalised routine based on your skin type and concerns.

Most actives take 6–12 weeks of consistent use to show visible results. Skin cell turnover happens roughly every 28 days, so give your routine time. The most important thing is consistency — not constantly switching products.

You can, but we recommend introducing one new active at a time and waiting 2–4 weeks before adding another. This helps you identify what works for your skin and avoids overwhelming your barrier.

For pigmentation and dark marks, we recommend: Cleanser → Alpha Arbutin Serum (AM) → Moisturiser → SPF (always!). In the PM, add an exfoliating acid like our Mandelic + Lactic. Take our skin quiz for a personalised recommendation.
